Challenge from a member of society ✨ Part 1 (Cooking Course)

Hello everyone!

Yamate Cooking and Confectionery College / Tokyo Yamate Cooking College (^▽^)/

Yamate is getting more and more students from working people.

Today we have an interview with such a working adult!So...

The first!

Balancing housework and childcare!Super mom!So,

I interviewed KT (cooking department)!

Career before admissionplease teach me!

After graduating from university, I worked for a financial company for about 15 years.During that time, I got married and gave birth, and now I am here!

★As a cookWhat inspired me to become a chefDo you have?

I really want to be a chef!I'm not thinking about it!

 I used to love cooking.

Rather than spending years and years of time and money on cooking classes,

I want to study cooking for 1 year!

 Thought it was the trigger!

On top of that, I thought that if I could get a qualification, it would definitely be better than going to a cooking class!

Why I entered Yamateor schoolReason for choosingDo you have?

It's a new and clean school, and it's equipped with the latest equipment.

Also, when I compared it with the school I was worried about until the end, the amount of practice was overwhelmingly different.

For a school with a curriculum of classroom lectures in addition to practical training two or three times a week,

Yamate was attractive because I could practice every day.

After that, I wanted to learn properly in an environment where I could be taught by first-class teachers who came from the field.

Impression of open campusplease teach me!

 Anyway, it was gorgeous.

At other schools' open campuses, I received one-sided explanations from public relations staff, but Yamate was different.

In Yamate, we also enjoy hands-on training,

Mr. Ogasawara (principal of Yamate Cooking and Confectionery College) and Mr. Makishima,

Together with Lulian (our school's student organization)I was able to see the sweets show to do.

I still remember the impact of that gorgeous event!

★Before admission不安Wasn't there?
Because of the age difference, I'm worried about whether I can get along with everyone,

I was also worried about whether I would be able to balance childcare and housework.

However, now I am able to be natural and get along well with my classmates.

I'm a little busy with balancing childcare, housework, and school, but I'm spending my time efficiently without wasting time!

Good things about entering the schoolWhat is?

 Helpful at home.

I had the opportunity to cut sudachi into decorations during my training.

I tried to recreate it at home, so I garnished the yellowtail teriyaki with a decorative sudachi.

It was very well received by my family, and I felt happy that my sensibilities and skills were refined.

 Academics are also very helpful.

I still have a small child, and I am still conscious of my health,

Because we want to give you something safe and secure,

Thanks to what I learned about nutrition and food poisoning, I am more careful at home!

★After graduationCourse planは?
 Become a cooking professional!

Although it is not yet clear which way

First of all, I would like to make dishes that my family and relatives will appreciate.

★ Message to working adults and university students aiming for this field

I think it takes courage to change careers as a working adult or university student.

I think there is anxiety about whether or not you can get used to it.

I've been worried about it for years, but now!I decided to enroll.

I'm glad I entered the school because I'm used to the class now and can lead a natural school life!

because I thinkI hope everyone will think positively!

Thank you for the interview! ✨
