Yamate Festival! ~The culmination of the graduation exhibition~

The graduation exhibition “Yamate Festival” was held again this year!


This is the culmination event held every year at Yamate Cooking and Confectionery College/Tokyo Yamate Cooking College.

Students who are about to graduate in March will create and present individual works in the fields of cooking and confectionery.

Award-winning works, including the grand prize work, will be selected based on the scoring!

There is a five-day preparation period during which students concentrate on creating their work.

When it comes to confectionery, she creates items in her favorite genres, such as bread crafts, candy crafts, chocolate crafts, and marzipan.

In the cooking department, we created a course meal in our favorite genre from three genres: Japanese cuisine, Western cuisine, and Cafe/Asian cuisine!

The completed work will be displayed,

A gold award will be selected for each genre, and even gold and silver awards will be selected for genres with a large number of exhibitors!

The award-winning works for this year's Yamate Festival have also been decided, so we will introduce some of them☺️

Mr. Iida belongs to the Amezaiku Research Club and can often be seen practicing amezaiku every Saturday☺️

The bowl is decorated with cherry blossoms and bamboo shoots are used abundantly, making it a work that gives you a spring-like feel!
