YAMANOTE new year training starts!

Hello everyone 😊

Thank you for visiting the YAMANOTE blog!

After the entrance ceremony yesterday, practical training started today! !

The students, who are in their first year of confectionery, put on their white cook coats and took on the challenge of class amidst both nervousness and excitement.

In preparation for the training we will be creating tomorrow, we listened to an explanation of the basics such as ``how to use the training room'', ``how to use the equipment'', and ``take careful notes during class''!

Each person will receive a set of kitchen knife tools that they will use every day, including Japanese-made brand knives and pallets that they can use for a lifetime!

I also learned how to use knives and pallets.

Students in their first year of cooking were already taking a class on "knife sharpening"!

Today we will be sharpening two types of Western knives: Gyuto and Petty!

Japan and China each have their own knives, so we will be using them in class 👍

Training will start every day from tomorrow😳💪

I'm looking forward to making sweets and dishes♪
