I was worried about my physical strength, but since attending the vocational school, that has improved and I've become more positive. Every time I bring home the sweets I make every day, I get compliments that they look like they came from a shop, and working with friends who share the same dream really motivates me.

    I chose Yamate because the overall school atmosphere is warm and I felt it was easy to get to. I enjoy being able to do practical training every day, and by working together with my classmates and sometimes competing, I can feel my skills improving every day. The teachers have a lot of experience in the field, so I can learn not only about cooking but also about how to succeed in the future. In the future, I would like to obtain a registered dietitian qualification and contribute to the health of the community.

    I chose this school because it had the cleanest facilities of all the ones I visited, and I was attracted by the fact that I could do practical training every day. The banquets (lunches) are luxurious and satisfying in volume, making student life even more enjoyable. In club activities, we work together to run a restaurant, so I think the sense of camaraderie has deepened beyond that of just friends. In the future, I would like to open my own cafe and serve food with an emphasis on latte art and presentation.
